The Department of Education has recently announced that classes will be suspended in the National Capital region stariting this afternoon at 12:00 pm after the state-run weather bureau has predicted that heavy rainfall may be expected later on in the region.
As per a telephone interview with DepEd Undersecretary Teresito Umali, the suspension came after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) predicted that Metro Manila will experience the same amount of rainfall that it had Tuesday.
