Rumors have stirred the web when a facebook page pronounced the death of the famous action superstar/commedian Jackie Chan due to an August 17 heart attack bewailing a lot of his fans. However, this was proven false and regarded as just another death hoax made by people who want to draw public attention as one of the actor's spokesman confirmed Jackie is doing fine and very much alive. In fact, Jackie Chans twitter account also confirmed hours ago that the actor's unfold death rumor is not true.

After the success of his "The Karate Kid" and "Kungfu Panda 2" stints, the actor will be releasing his 100th movie this coming September 26, 2011 entitled 1911. A Chinese historical film that tributes the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution and also tributes Jackie Chan's 100th film since he started his acting career. Beside directing and producing the said film, Chan also played the lead role together with his son, Jaycee Chan.
